Oh, details. I fit neatly in the age group 21-27, but like to think that I’m rather a-typical as far as others of my age are concerned. I write bad goddamn genius code for a living. I am 185cm tall. I like soft things and rich, shiny, dark pints of that flavorful broth: Guinness — though it may count as a soft thing as well.

The Site

...has been up and running since February 2001. However the content, as you will find, does not go back further than April 2005. This is due to the fact that it’s lived on several servers and has been kept using a variety of logging systems: Blogger, Pivot, Wordpress. Since then I’ve pseudo-migrated all the old stuff into two distinct sections:

As Pivot stored its content in a very odd text-based format, I’ve had to write a PHP script that tosses the junk and adds some HTML to the data. This is done in real on-the-fly time, with each page view. I estimate that the visit count remains low enough for that to stay feasible. I’m not certain why I didn’t use a proper index file.
